In 2018, Maria and Carlos Luz were just like many couples who loved to explore the Pacific Northwest on weekends. What started as personal adventures with friends and family quickly became something more when they realized how many people struggled to plan safe, enjoyable road trips.
"We kept hearing the same concerns," recalls Maria. "People wanted to explore, but they worried about vehicle reliability, route safety, and missing the best spots. We knew we could help." With Carlos's background in automotive services and Maria's experience in hospitality, they decided to turn their passion into a business.
Starting with a single well-maintained SUV and a commitment to exceptional service, Luz Holiday began offering personalized road trip experiences. Word spread quickly through satisfied customers, and what began as weekend side business grew into a full-time operation serving thousands of travelers annually.
